This glamorous design is dedicated to my beloved SISTAH, Sharon Elizabeth. Her name is not Sharun Jean — that is a nickname I made up for her because she’s (mostly) from the south and because I had partaken in one too many Cosmo martinis the evening that I christened her with this name. Besides sharing the same middle name (Elizabeth), Sharon and I immediately bonded over our love of sarcasm, half-assery, smart-assery, and an overall disdain for conventional “wisdom” and other people’s ideas. Through our nearly 30 years of friendship, Sharon has always inspired me with her beauty, intelligence, faith, and ability to tell someone to get bent without them even knowing it. I dedicate this saying to her because she is retired now and deserves to do EXACTLY what she wants, and nothing more. If you have a hard time telling people that you’re not interested in their petty errands and chores, let this print do it for you!
